We are actively seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join a growing Roofing and Cladding specialist based in Nottinghamshire due to continued growth. This is an excellent opportunity to join a family run business with a healthy pipeline of work. In this position you will have the opportunity to manage projects ranging from new builds to refurbishments and maintenance, with values between £5,000 and £2 million.

Contracts Manager Job Overview
  • Enforce health and safety compliance on-site.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients, site managers, and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and review Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
  • Manage programme schedules and ensure work is completed as planned.
  • Coordinate construction drawings with the draughtsman and clients for approval.
  • Handle multiple projects, ensuring budget control and timely completion.
  • Procure materials and oversee timely deliveries.
  • Participate in site meetings, resolve issues, and manage snagging before handover.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, clients, and suppliers.
  • Oversee progress reporting for transparency and accountability.
  • Interpret architectural and steelwork drawings to guide execution.
Contracts Manager Job Requirements
  • Full driving license
  • Based in or able to commute to the Midlands. (Nottinghamshire)
  • 7+ years of experience in industrial roofing, sheeting, or cladding.
  • Proven ability to manage projects of various sizes in the industrial roofing sector.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PDF viewer.
  • Strong understanding of architectural and construction drawings.
  • Expertise in flat roof systems, including single-ply, liquid-applied, composite built-up, rainscreen, and composite cladding.
  • Skilled in building and maintaining professional relationships.
Contracts Manager Salary & Benefits
  • Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 + £6,000 car allowance.
