The Role:
As Health & Safety Coordinator, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining our exemplary safety standards across our UK operations, focusing on our state-of-the-art solar farm projects. This is an excellent opportunity to join an industry leader and make a meaningful impact in the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive H&S documentation and procedures
Conduct regular site safety inspections and risk assessments
Drive safety awareness through coordinating team training programs
Monitor and ensure compliance with UK health and safety regulations
Manage and maintain safety documentation systems
Implement and track safety performance metrics
Collaborate with project managers and site teams to ensure safety protocols are followed
Lead safety briefings and toolbox talks
Requirements:
NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent H&S qualification
CSCS Card
Proven experience in construction safety management
Knowledge of renewable energy sector safety requirements (solar farm experience preferred)
Strong analytical and documentation management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Valid and Clean UK driving license
