Crane Engineer

Crane engineer required. Our client is specialising in on-site services to customers throughout the UK requiring engineering services for factory overhead cranes, jib cranes, and goods and passenger lifts and require an engineer to carry out works and installations on their cranes. They require an engineer who will be workshop and filed based as required. Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial for this role. The client has two workshops based in the Nottinghamshire area.

This role requires a driving licence.

• The role will require both workshop and field-based work with works on overhead cranes and jib cranes
• The client is a family run business who look after their staff as long as the candidate looks after them
• The role will require some travelling to as far as London or Sheffield but this will all be paid for as there is door to door pay with this role.
• Adhere to site and workshop health and safety policies
• Working together with the team who specialise in this industry
• This role comes with a start rate of 14 an hour but as soon skills and experience are proven pay rises will occur
• In this role there is also door to door pay so you will be paid as soon as you leave your front door

• Previous experience in a similar role is essential
• Relevant qualifications to this role are beneficial
• Able to work well in a team or alone
• Good customer service skills
• Manual driving licence
• Within a commutable distance of Nottingham
• Strong electrical and mechanical skills and knowledge within the crane industry

• Starting rate of 14 an hour with relevant pay rises once skills and experience are showed
• 8:00-16:30 Monday-Friday
• Door to door pay
• Overtime available (Saturday - Time and half) (Sunday - Double time)
