Distinct is supporting a charitable organization torecruit a part-time Credit Controller who will play a key role in establishing a credit control function.

This is:

An initial six-month contract

Part-time (3 days per week with flexible hours)

Remote/ or some time in the Nottingham office

You will be responsible for setting up efficient credit control processes, managing receivables, and ensuring timely payments. You’ll play a vital role in helping the organisation maintain financial stability so it can focus on delivering essential services to those who need them most.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement credit control procedures from scratch
  • Manage outstanding payments, issue invoices, and follow up on overdue accounts
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure smooth payment processes
  • Monitor and report on debtor balances and cash flow
  • Ensure compliance with charity regulations and financial best practices

About You:

  • Previous experience in credit control
  • Strong understanding of credit control processes and systems
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
