Job Title: Credit Controller

Location: Nottingham

Salary: £25,000 - £28,500 (DOE)

Type: Full-Time, Hybrid

We are currently looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join a very well established law firm in Nottingham. You will be part of a bigger team responsible for the collection of overdue debts, improving cash flow and resolving aged debt.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Chase overdue debt by phone and email, handle incoming calls
  • Update records and negotiate timely payments
  • Produce and send client statements
  • Send invoices out to clients
  • Work with cashier team to identity unallocated cash received
  • Take all payments as required
  • Manage a joint email inbox
  • Send out letters (dunning process)
  • Work with internal teams to resolve queries

Requirements:

  • Previous Credit Control experience
  • Excellent phone manner
  • Be able to work under own initiative
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Strong IT skills, especially MS Office
