Junior Credit Controller

Reporting to: Credit Control Team Leader

Junior Salary: £23,400

Key Responsibilities:

Collect outstanding charges from tenants.
Ensure high collection rates and meet debtor targets.
Manage individual portfolios.
Chase overdue items via phone, email, and letter within agreed timescales.
Maintain accurate records of all chasing activities.
Respond promptly to internal and external requests.
Assist with receipt processing during busy periods.
Take card payments over the phone.
Build and maintain relationships with both internal and external clients.
Perform general ad hoc duties.

Desirable Skills:

While experience is a plus, we value the right attitude and willingness to learn. Familiarity with Excel and Word, especially intermediate Excel skills (v-lookups and pivot tables), and credit control experience are beneficial. Awareness of general accounting procedures, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements is also desirable.
