Reporting to: Credit Control Team Leader

Junior Salary: £23,400

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect outstanding charges from tenants.
  • Ensure high collection rates and meet debtor targets.
  • Manage individual portfolios.
  • Chase overdue items via phone, email, and letter within agreed timescales.
  • Maintain accurate records of all chasing activities.
  • Respond promptly to internal and external requests.
  • Assist with receipt processing during busy periods.
  • Take card payments over the phone.
  • Build and maintain relationships with both internal and external clients.
  • Perform general ad hoc duties.

Desirable Skills:

While experience is a plus, we value the right attitude and willingness to learn. Familiarity with Excel and Word, especially intermediate Excel skills (v-lookups and pivot tables), and credit control experience are beneficial. Awareness of general accounting procedures, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements is also desirable.
