Job Title: Commercial Business Coordinator Location: Stoke Bardolph, Nottingham (within a 45-minute commute) Contract: 6-Month contract (Potential for Extension/perm) Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 11am-7pm (flexible to 10am-6pm based on business needs) Salary: Up to £31,000 + Annual Bonus SchemeAbout the RoleMorson Talent are excited to be recruiting for a Commercial Business Coordinator on behalf of our esteemed client, Severn Trent. This role is within their Tankered Trade Waste Team, focusing on coordinating bookings, supporting internal teams, and maintaining effective communication with valued customers. This is an office-based role, handling inquiries via phone and email, without direct face-to-face customer interaction. You will be the main point of contact for booking requests, managing them through Microsoft Dynamics, and supporting customers with a new booking system (full training provided). You’ll be joining a close-knit team of 5 at the Stoke Bardolph site but will regularly interact with a wider team of 22 across 7 different locations. The supportive office environment ensures collaboration and guidance is always available. Key Responsibilities

  • Booking Coordination: Manage and process customer booking requests, ensuring all waste is booked in advance using Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Customer Support: Assist customers with a new booking system, ensuring a smooth transition and resolving any queries.
  • Account Management: Maintain and support smaller customer accounts, fostering positive relationships.
  • Communication: Deliver clear updates on site availability and operational changes to customers.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams across multiple sites to meet commercial targets.
  • System Management: Maintain accurate records in the Commercial Waste Information Database (CWID) and related systems.

Who We’re Looking ForWe’re seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual who can:

  • Communicate Effectively: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to manage challenging customer inquiries while maintaining professionalism.
  • Problem-Solve with Conviction: Able to push back when needed, maintaining positive customer relations.
  • Collaborate Efficiently: Work effectively within a dispersed team environment, interacting with colleagues at different locations.
  • Be Customer-Focused: Prior experience in customer-focused roles, ideally within the waste industry (dry or liquid waste) is preferred.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a customer-focused environment, managing bookings and inquiries.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to offer alternative solutions and manage expectations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with the willingness to learn new systems (training provided).
  • Ability to prioritize workload and work under pressure.
  • Full UK driving license and the ability to travel for team meetings (expenses claimable).

Desirable:

  • Experience in the waste industry or knowledge of trade waste processes.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics or similar CRM systems.
