Home Manager required for an established and well regarded elderly care home in Nottingham.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a small regional provider at one of their Good rated homes that is located a few miles to the East of Central Nottingham. We are not necessarily looking for a clinical home manager, but do need someone with current / previous nursing home experience.

The successful candidate will be supported by an experienced Clinical Deputy Home Manager and a passionate care team.

Requirements

  • NVQ L4/5 Management or equivalent qualification
  • Experience of successfully managing a nursing home
  • Proven ability in budget preparation and control
  • Excellent knowledge of CQC legislation
  • Positive and engaging leadership

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining the successful running of the home; providing the highest standards of care and exceeding residents expectations and needs. Achieve and maintain Good CQC outcomes.
  • Providing staff with guidance, support, advice and training.
  • Manage and be accountable for the home's income and expenditure budgets.
  • Ensure that systems are used effectively to monitor the quality of service provision.
  • Motivate and manage staff team to achieve agreed targets and deadlines.

Remuneration

  • Salary offered 60,000 - 65,000pa
