Home Manager required for an established and well regarded elderly care home in Nottingham.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a small regional provider at one of their Good rated homes in the area. As part of ongoing development the home has recently changed it's registration to include nursing and so we're not necessarily looking for a clinical home manager, but do need someone with current / previous nursing home experience.

Requirements

  • RN / L5 / L4 Management or equivalent qualification
  • Experience of successfully managing a nursing home
  • Proven ability in budget preparation and control
  • Excellent knowledge of CQC legislation
  • Positive and engaging leadership

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining the successful running of the home; providing the highest standards of care and exceeding residents expectations and needs. Achieve and maintain Good CQC outcomes.
  • Providing staff with guidance, support, advice and training.
  • Manage and be accountable for the home's income and expenditure budgets.
  • Ensure that systems are used effectively to monitor the quality of service provision.
  • Motivate and manage staff team to achieve agreed targets and deadlines.

Remuneration

  • Salary offered c£55,000pa
