Role: Finance Analyst / Finance Systems Analyst (12 month fixed term contract)
Location: Midlands, 2/3-day hybrid split
Salary: circa £40,000 - £50,000 + Bonus + Health + Pension

As a Finance Analyst / Finance Systems Analyst this role will be responsible for the integrity of the Finance Systems, and the alignment with Finance Reporting.
This role is suited to someone with good Finance Process knowledge, likely from a Finance background that wants to work in a project capacity. Likely a Finance Systems Analyst, or someone working in Finance Systems Support.
Areas of responsibility:
- Carrying out finance systems tasks including month end tasks and ensuring jobs are running and scheduled correctly.
- Perform daily system checks, data checking, checking interfaces are working correctly to meet the requirements of the Group's financial reporting calendar. This will require some weekend working to ensure that data is correct for the business to use.
- Provide assistance and support to the finance teams across the group to ensure that the financial reporting requirements are met.
- Support the Systems Assurance Manager in ensuring integrity is maintained with the delivery of new projects which impact our financial systems.
- Assist in the development of the finance systems controls to ensure they are robust and efficient.
- Complete testing required to ensure system integrity is maintained across systems and integrations.
Experience:
- Good understanding of Finance Processes and procedures
- Part qualified of equivalent, and a passion for Finance Systems
- Finance System Support / Administration experience
Flexible hybrid role, likely operating 3/2 between in office and remote. Commutable from most key Midlands based locations, including Birmingham, Nottingham, Coventry, Solihull, Derby, Walsall, Northampton, Leicester, East Midlands and more.
Suited to a Finance Systems Manager, Finance Systems Lead, Systems Accountant or Lead Project Accountant
