Role Responsibilities

As an Audit & Accounts Assistant Manager, you’ll take on a key leadership role, ensuring exceptional service delivery to a diverse portfolio of clients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing audits from planning through to completion across various sectors
  • Preparing and reviewing year-end accounts and financial statements
  • Mentoring and leading junior team members, helping them develop their skills and confidence
  • Building strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor
  • Managing workflow and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and to the highest standard

Candidate Requirements
  • ACA, ACCA qualification or equivalent
  • Proven experience in audit and accounts within a practice environment
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in mentoring and reviewing team members’ work
  • Excellent client communication and relationship management skills
  • A proactive, organised approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
