We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Financial Administrative Specialist to join our client's dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be instrumental in supporting their financial planners and paraplanners by managing various administrative tasks essential for delivering top-tier financial services to their clients.

Description of the role:

  • Processing authority letters and collecting financial data for new clients and annual reviews.
  • Preparing application forms and client documentation.
  • Handling financial transactions on various platforms.
  • Compiling client reviews, including gathering financial data, updating goal information, and scheduling meetings.
  • Managing post, emails, and any correspondence related to clients or their financial situations.
  • Offering administrative support to financial planners and paraplanners as needed.
  • Assisting clients with administrative queries and communication as required.

About you:

  • Minimum of two years' administrative experience within a financial planning firm.
  • Skilled in processing authority letters and collecting data on clients' investments, pensions, and life assurance policies.
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial transactions, including investments, insurance policies, sales, fund switches, and withdrawals.
  • Proven experience in gathering detailed information for review purposes, such as valuations, charges, performance metrics, and other specific data.
  • Holding financial administration qualifications is a plus.
  • Proficient in utilising various technologies and systems, including CRM and project management tools, as well as a variety of investment platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills, a strong team player, and adept at managing workload priorities effectively.
