My client is a large, established and leader in its field, seeking a Group Reporting Manager on a permanent, full time basis in Nottingham.

As Group Reporting Manager, based in Nottingham, you will be responsible:

  • Responsible for statutory reporting
  • Adherence to local and group accounting standards
  • Submitting accurate statutory financial statements for the Group and subsidiaries
  • Liaising with external auditors for annual audits
  • Ensuring VAT returns are submitted on time
  • Managing group tax position and advise on complex tax matters including local and international tax position
  • Maintaining and developing a strong internal controls audit plan to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and accuracy of financial records
  • Reviewing and improving financial reporting processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency of reporting
  • Identifying areas of risk and providing actionable recommendations for improvement
  • Preparing detailed audit reports, summarising findings and the outcome of follow up actions for the CFO and the Audit Committee
  • Overseeing the management of the group's cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operational needs

The successful Group Reporting Manager will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with 4 years post qualification
  • Proficient in financial reporting
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Experience of FRS 102 statutory accounts preparation, financial controls and the audit process
  • In-depth knowledge of FRS102 and other relevant accounting standards
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance
  • Experience in managing audits and working with external auditors

The successful Group Reporting Manager will be entitled to the following:
