Robertson Bell are supporting a sizeable and complex organisation based in Nottingham to recruit an interim Finance Systems Manager on an initial 7-month contract.

This is a part-time role (four days per week) with two days per week required in Nottingham.

The Finance Systems Manager will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the management and administration of the organisations finance systems, running reports, maintaining the integrity of data and providing support to users.
  • Delivering finance system-related training to staff, to ensure best practice and improve efficiency.
  • Identify and implement improvements to financial systems and processes.
  • Supervise and manage a small team, ensuring effective task completion and contributing to staff development through regular performance reviews.

You will need:

  • Significant experience in Finance System related roles, with experience delivering improvements to those systems and associated processes.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of finance, in order to effectively support and work with users.
  • Experience managing staff.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
