Role Responsibilities
  • Managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance and delivering high-quality tax advisory services
  • Providing expert guidance on corporate and personal tax matters, including planning and structuring advice
  • Reviewing tax computations and returns prepared by junior staff to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Acting as a trusted advisor, building strong client relationships and identifying opportunities for added value
  • Assisting with complex tax projects, including tax investigations, restructuring, and business tax planning
  • Mentoring and supporting junior tax team members, providing coaching and technical training
  • Keeping up to date with tax legislation and HMRC regulations, ensuring best practice and compliance

Candidate Requirements
  • CTA, ACA, or ACCA qualified (or working towards qualification)
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate and personal tax legislation
  • Experience in a UK accountancy practice, ideally in a supervisory or advisory role
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax issues in a clear and practical way
  • A proactive problem-solver, confident in handling client queries and tax planning opportunities
  • Experience using tax software such as CCH, IRIS, or similar platforms
  • A collaborative team player, with a passion for professional development and mentorship
