A highly regarded Chartered Financial Planning firm is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to support financial planners in delivering exceptional client outcomes. This role is integral to providing goal-based holistic financial planning, helping clients achieve security, peace of mind, and financial clarity.

About the Role

As a Paraplanner, you will work collaboratively with financial planners to prepare detailed financial plans, lifetime cashflow forecasts, and suitability reports. You will play a key role in ensuring that financial plans are executed accurately and in a timely manner, supporting clients in achieving their long-term financial goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with financial planners to research and prepare financial plans, incorporating holistic planning strategies.
  • Create lifetime cashflow forecasts with multiple scenarios to assess the achievability of clients' financial goals.
  • Produce high-quality suitability reports and supporting documentation for regulated financial advice.
  • Ensure financial plans and ongoing reviews are delivered accurately and on time.
  • Process transactions in accordance with service expectations and regulatory requirements.

About You

  • Diploma status and at least three years of paraplanning experience.
  • A strong understanding of investment, pension, and life assurance products, including their taxation and benefits.
  • Experience in holistic financial planning, incorporating tax allowances, trusts, and business structures.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organisation, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong technical capability, including proficiency in Excel and financial planning tools such as cashflow forecasting (ideally Voyant).
