Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day site operations, managing all on-site activities and subcontractors
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across the project
  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure milestones are met
  • Monitor and control project costs, materials, and quality standards
  • Coordinate with clients, engineers, and project stakeholders to ensure clear communication and problem-solving
  • Provide accurate progress reporting and address any project challenges proactively
  • Ensure adherence to Severn Trent Water's specifications, as well as relevant industry regulations
  • Implement risk management strategies and continuously drive improvements on-site

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager, ideally on water or utility infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of water and wastewater systems, civil engineering, and construction methodologies
  • Excellent knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Full UK driving license and the flexibility to travel to various sites within the Severn Trent region
