Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day site operations, managing all on-site activities and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across the project
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure milestones are met
- Monitor and control project costs, materials, and quality standards
- Coordinate with clients, engineers, and project stakeholders to ensure clear communication and problem-solving
- Provide accurate progress reporting and address any project challenges proactively
- Ensure adherence to Severn Trent Water's specifications, as well as relevant industry regulations
- Implement risk management strategies and continuously drive improvements on-site
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager, ideally on water or utility infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of water and wastewater systems, civil engineering, and construction methodologies
- Excellent knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Full UK driving license and the flexibility to travel to various sites within the Severn Trent region
