Job Title: Export/Import Administrator (Temporary) Location: Nottingham Contract: Temporary 4-6 months Salary Range: £28,000 - £30,000 per annumAbout the Role:SF Recruitment are looking for a detail-oriented Export/Import Administrator to join our client's team on a temporary assignment based in Nottingham. This role is perfect for someone with a solid background in export/import administration who enjoys managing international documentation, coordinating shipments, and ensuring compliance with customs regulations. This role does require an immediate start so ideal for candidates who can commit to a straight start or is available on a short notice period. Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review export/import documentation including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and customs declarations.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal teams to ensure smooth shipping processes and on-time delivery.
  • Ensure all shipments adhere to local and international regulations, including customs requirements and trade compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions, shipments, and import/export documentation.
  • Act as the point of contact for queries related to export/import processes, both internally and with external partners.
  • Provide general administrative support to the logistics and supply chain teams as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in export/import administration or a similar role is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of international shipping documentation and customs regulations.
  • Excellent organisational skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
