We are proud to be supporting our long-standing client with a 6-month FTC requirement within their Finance and Trading department. We are on the lookout for dedicated & ambitious Account Associates who have their AAT qualification (studying towards can be considered).

Salary: £27,500 with the potential to earn up to a 10% bonus, which would be pro-rated for the 6m FTC
Hybrid working - 2 days in office (can go to either North Derby or Central Notts)

Duties:
- Delivering accurate accounting and reporting
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensuring robust controls around numbers reported in the financial statements.
- Manage, monitor, and control data using established finance systems and protocols.
- Prepare moderately complex documents using a variety of applications.
- Gathering and summarise data for reports.
- Produce accurate reports for others by collecting data from a variety of standard sources and inputting it into standard formats.
- Identify and escalate commercial or financial risks for works, to aid risk management.

To succeed in this role, you'll need to have a good understanding of accounting principles, an analytical mindset with strong Excel skills and the ability to dive into the workload. Your attention to detail will be strong and you'll be able to identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.
