The Head of Membership and Operations will have demonstrable experience of member recruitment, retention, renewals, engagement, development, journeys, member value propositions, member benefits working in a trade association, professional body, not for profit, membership body, charity, subscription or similar.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver the membership offer and related income streams
- Deliver the monthly review against business plan KPIs for
- Membership sales
- Fundraising receipts
- Volunteer hours booked
- Website and social media analytics
- Impact tracking
- Issue resolution
- Provide administrative support to the voluntary Executive Committee, including business assistant support to the Chairman.
- Collaboration with volunteer stakeholders
- Skilful application of change management to ensure membership targets are achieved, benefits are developed, and processes and data management are optimised
- Deliver the volunteer programme
- Deploy a time-tracking application so that the organisation can demonstrate value of volunteer time, community engagement, and claim credit for contribution in kind
- Organise the annual conference volunteer lunch (for those who have generously donated their time in the previous year).
- Deliver the marketing plan
- Website and LinkedIn profile are regularly updated with accurate material
- Liaise with third-party contractor on the production of marketing collateral
- Deliver the event programme, with support as needed
- Annual conference (about 3 days), typically 1st or 2nd week in September.
- Quarterly in-person networking events (typically an afternoon event mid-week)
- Monthly 1hr webinar for members
