This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to begin their career in Early Years with a keen interest in childcare. This is an apprenticeship role with great progression opportunities where you will train on the job to become a skilled Practitioner whilst gaining valuable experience in the childcare sector.
Main Tasks of Job:
1) Sharing in the responsibility for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children in the nursery.
2) Ensuring daily domestic routines are completed in the nursery, maintaining high standards to ensure the environment is safe, secure and clean at all times.
3) Planning and implementation of appropriate programmes of activities for the children, helping children with their learning, play, educational and social development.
4) Ensuring all record keeping on the childs development is in-line with the Nursery policies, and to respect the confidentiality of information received.
5) Liaising with parents and encouraging their involvement in the aims of the nursery and in all aspects of their child/childrens care.
6) Helping children with feeding, changing clothes, toileting etc.
7) Ensuring each child is collected in accordance with the collection procedures.
8) Contributing to the team effort.
9) Liaising with all employees, children, parents and families to ensure the above tasks are completed effectively.

Apprenticeship eligibility requirements:
To not already hold an Early Years qualification at level 3 or above
