We are hiring a key Personal Tax job role for a leading and long-standing accountancy firm in Nottingham, available between Tax Senior through to Tax Manager / Senior Manager grade.

The role is personal tax focused, with the firm willing to consider applicants at any level from Semi-Senior up to a full Manager role, so all levels of experience are welcomed to apply.

The firm are open to people at a higher level, potentially Managerial who might be ACA / CTA qualified, but they will also consider less experienced professionals, who have relevant personal tax experience.

**With a wide variety of work, on all aspects of personal tax compliance and trusts work. The role will involve compliance and advisory, but the job can be tailored to suit the right person.

As the role is flexible, part time or full time are options.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Tax Director as required with tax compliance private client returns, advisory and tax planning.
  • Mentoring junior staff, including potentially reviewing work and supporting their training.
  • Keeping up to date with taxation news and regulations, sharing knowledge with tax and accounts staff.
  • Personal tax and capital gains tax compliance and advice, including preparation, review, and submission of Self-Assessment Tax Returns (HNWI, sole traders, partners, landlords etc) and CGT60 day reports.
  • Managing workflow and tax deadlines, liaising with client portfolio owners to ensure work is completed in an efficient and timely basis.
