Sales Coordinator - Mechanical & Electrical Engineering
Location: Nottingham Salary: 25,000 - 30,000 per annum
Our client, a leading mechanical and electrical engineering company based in Nottingham, is seeking a dynamic and organised Sales Coordinator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual to play a crucial role in supporting the company's sales and business development efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inbound sales enquiries via email and phone, conducting initial screening and prioritisation before routing to appropriate sales team members or senior management for further development.
- Maintain and update the company's CRM system, ensuring all customer interactions are accurately recorded for future reference and follow-up.
- Organise and actively participate in networking events, trade shows, and industry conferences, representing the company professionally while building valuable relationships and gathering market intelligence.
- Act as a liaison between the business development team and other departments, facilitating effective internal communication and ensuring all relevant parties are informed of key developments and aligned with company strategies.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience in a sales support or coordination role (preferred)
- Knowledge of the mechanical and electrical engineering industry (advantageous)
