Immediate Start

We are currently seeking for a meticulous and experience Sales Ledger Clerk to join a friendly finance team, supporting Management Accountant and Financial Controller. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounts receivable records, including invoicing, credit control, processing expenses and raising reports, initially 6 months fixed term contract, with the opportunity for permanent employment.

Main Duties:

  • Processing and generating invoice and statements
  • Credit control duties and monitoring debtor balances
  • Processing credit cards, credit notes and expenses
  • Reconciling accounts
  • Raising weekly / monthly debtors reports
  • Assisting with preparation of month-end and internal audits

Ideal Candidate should have:

  • Experience of Sales Ledger
  • Experience of working in within the Education sector would be an advantage
  • An eye for details
  • AAT or equivalent would be an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills verbal & written
  • Able to work to strict deadlines
  • Hold current DBS would be desirable
