Role Overview: Career Teachers are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Teaching Assistant to work within one of our vibrant primary schools located in Derbyshire. This role involves providing one-on-one support to a Year 1 child with special educational needs. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in Key Stage 1 and supporting those with SEND.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to a Year 1 child with special educational needs.
  • Assist in the implementation of individualised education plans.
  • Collaborate with teachers and SEN coordinators to create an inclusive learning environment.
  • Support the child in both academic and social activities.
  • Monitor and report on the child's progress and development.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with children in Key Stage 1.
  • Experience supporting children with special educational needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
