Job Role:
Long Term Futures are working in collaboration with a number of secondary schools and academies across Nottingham & Nottinghamshire who are looking for Teaching Assistants. We work with settings looking for support on a regular relief basis and long term-permanent basis.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for students across all lessons, supporting key students by providing 1-1 and small group guidance.
  • Consistently support students in accordance with their special educational needs.
  • Implement planned learning activities/teaching programmes as agreed with the teacher.
  • Promote independent learning and inclusion for students.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Prior experience working with students with SEN in a education setting.
  • Demonstrates patience, resilience and the ability to stay calm in challenging situations.
  • Adaptable and flexible in supporting the individual needs of the student.
