I have a fantastic opportunity for a HR professional to join a leading brand in the food manufacturing sector to who are committed to creating a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented workplace where their employees can thrive.

The Role

As the Head of People, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of the company. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will develop and implement a people strategy that not only aligns with the business objectives but also fosters a culture of engagement, satisfaction, and retention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive people strategy that aligns with the company's objectives, vision, and values.
  • Collaborate with departmental heads to understand staffing needs and plan for future requirements in line with growth plans.
  • Oversee the entire talent acquisition process, ensuring high-quality recruitment, induction, and training for all new employees.
  • Lead and develop cultural initiatives that enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Coordinate initiatives for employee development, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Act as a key contact for employee relations issues, driving a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Ensure compliance with current and upcoming employment laws and regulations.
  • Oversee HR operations, including policies, procedures, and record-keeping.

Key Requirements

  • Experience: Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role within the food manufacturing sector.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record in driving cultural change.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
  • HR Expertise: Deep understanding of HR processes, systems, and best practices, along with a strong grasp of employment laws and regulations.
  • Sustainability Focus: Experience in supporting ESG and sustainability initiatives is a plus.
