We are seeking an experienced senior HR leader to join a well know UK brand based in Nottingham. You will ideally have experience in a manufacturing environment and have been used to dealing with Unions.
Key Info/Benefits:
- Job Title: HR Manager
- Length: Fixed Term Contract 6 months
- Location: Nottingham (occasional travel to Wellingborough)
- Salary: £50k to £60k
- Car allowance: Equivalent of £417 per month
- Pension: up to 7.5%
- Holiday: 25 days + BH (pro rata)
Overview/Responsibilities:
- Dual site role of Nottingham bakery in Watnall and Mill in Wellingborough. 5 days on site at Nottingham.
- Circa 480 employees at Nottingham bakery/30 at Wellingborough
- Main base would be Nottingham. Initially will need to build relationships with Site Manager/team at the Mill so might be abit of travel to Wellingborough but largely will be by call with Wellingborough weekly with Site Manager
- 2 direct reports - HR Advisor & HR Assistant
- Main agenda for the role; People partner SLT, help drive relationships and collaboration as the SLT is a little fragmented. All about delivering the site business plan and people agenda
- Have a good relationship with the unions. Bakers, URTU and a little with Unite.
- Very generalist role - ER case management
- Coaching line managers
