Ready to design cool software for awesome electronic systems? As an Embedded Software Design Engineer, you'll create embedded software that makes our projects come to life! You'll juggle different projects, work within deadlines, and ensure your solutions are fast, reliable, and meet all the latest industry standards.   • Create and code embedded software that fits perfectly with project needs.
  • Keep designs budget-friendly and efficient.
  • Stay ahead of the game by improving and adopting best practices in the world of embedded software.
  • Ensure everything meets safety, quality, and industry regulations (we like to play by the rules).
  • Flag any quality, safety, or HR issues to the Engineering Manager when they pop up.
  1. What We Expect

  • Hit your deadlines, stay on budget, and meet the quality standards like a pro.
  1. What You Bring
  • You're a wizard with embedded software design, including skills in:
    • C/C++, C#, Visual Studio, .NET, ARM9, 8051, PIC, X86, SQL, Assembler, and RTOS.
    • Bonus points if you can handle some web design (TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS)!
    • Fault analysis, testing (unit, integration, factory, site), and commissioning experience are in your toolbox.
    • You know your way around change control and version control.
  • You've got at least 5 years of experience in embedded software design and a degree in Software Engineering (or a similar field).
  • Extra credit: knowledge of the rail industry and its standards.
  • You're driven, self-motivated, and love thinking outside the box. Teamwork and communication? You've got that covered too!
