The company are a leading provider of mobile CCTV solutions for the transport sector, delivering a service that covers a range of technologies, from cameras and DVRs to routers and cloud platforms. They work with customers and suppliers to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues that require a broad and flexible approach.
We are looking for a Technical Systems Engineer to join the team and be the main point of contact for clients and partners. You will be responsible for managing the technical aspects of products, ensuring they meet the customer requirements and specifications. You will also be involved in testing, installation, configuration, and maintenance of systems, as well as providing technical support and guidance to internal and external teams.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A strong problem-solving and project management skillset, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
A good knowledge of networking, especially routers and mobile networks.
A basic understanding of hardware, such as cameras, DVRs, and servers, and how they communicate with each other.
A familiarity with cloud infrastructure and software, and how they process and store data.
A customer-oriented and collaborative attitude, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
At least 2 years experience in a job requiring technical problem solving and troubleshooting.
Previous experience in mobile CCTV installation, or similar hardware solutions, is desirable but not essential.
