IT Project Coordinator

I'm currently partnering with a forward thinking organisation about to embark on a series of tech based projects. As such they are looking for a detail-oriented IT Project Coordinator to join their friendly and professional team. In this pivotal role, you will support the successful delivery of IT projects by ensuring effective communication, planning, and execution. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for technology and project management to make a tangible impact.
Key Responsibilities of the IT Project Coordinator:
- Coordinate and support the planning, execution, and monitoring of IT projects, ensuring time-lines and budgets are met.
- Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, and stakeholders to track project progress and address any issues.
- Organise project meetings, prepare agendas, and maintain comprehensive documentation.
- Monitor risks and escalate challenges, providing recommendations for mitigation.
- Ensure seamless communication between teams and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
- Assist in creating detailed project plans, schedules, and reports.
About You as the IT Project Coordinator:
- Proven experience in a project coordination role, ideally within an IT environment.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for problem-solving.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Project, Trello).
- A relevant qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) is desirable but not essential.
