• Location: Remote (Occasional travel to Nottingham and customer sites)
• Salary: £45,000 - £55,000

About the Role:

• Are you an experienced IT professional with a passion for designing and shaping IT service solutions? We're looking for someone from an MSP or IT service background to join a growing team in a consultative role.
• This role is ideal for those with experience in IT service management, service desk operations, or technical consultancy who enjoy working closely with clients to scope and design tailored service solutions.
• You'll be instrumental in bridging technical and operational requirements, ensuring solutions are both effective and deliverable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer & Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to assess requirements and design optimal service solutions.
• Solution Design & Governance: Lead the service design process, ensuring alignment with business needs and technical capabilities.
• Operational Transition: Work closely with delivery teams to ensure a seamless handover of designed services into live environments.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the evolution of service offerings, enhancing efficiency and customer experience.

Skills and Experience:

• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of IT service management (ITIL), managed services, service desk operations, and cloud technologies.
• Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to design scalable, effective IT service solutions and oversee their implementation.
• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, able to translate technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience: Previous experience in IT service management, service desk leadership, or technical consultancy within an MSP or IT services environment.

Desirable Skills:

• PRINCE2 or other project management certifications.
• Familiarity with IT bid support and public sector procurement processes.

Working Environment:

• Remote-first role with occasional travel to Nottingham and customer sites (all expenses covered).
