Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be proficient in the use of hand and power tools. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. Your expertise will contribute to the overall satisfaction of our customers and the smooth operation of our service department.
Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections.
- Utilise diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot vehicle problems accurately.
- Repair or replace faulty components such as engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed on vehicles.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to automotive repair.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
