The Company
My client is a world leading manufacturer of specialist equipment for supply to multiple industries as part ofa global manufacturing operation.
Due to continued growth and expansion, they have an excellent opportunity for an experienced AssemblyOperative in a multi-functional role that supports the production objectives.
The Role
Reporting to the Team Leader, theAssembly Operativewill be required to assemble and test according to the relevant work instructions, then ensure the correct process is followed for timely and accurate despatch.
This will also include:
- Documentation of all appropriate information (errors, defects, product details etc.)
- Managing non-conformance
- Ensuring correct picking & packaging
- Correct following of processes and procedures
- Detailed inspection
- Inventory control
- Certification
- Compliance to company Health & Safety
- Attention to detail.
The Candidate
Theideal Assembly Operative appointed to this role will have experience gained within an engineering or manufacturing environment, that also includes assembly, testing, certification, and general despatch duties.
Good communication skills, organisation skills and the ability to work as part of a team is key.
Knowledge of mechanical or electrical assembly would be advantageous.
