Proactive Global is seeking a Mechanical Fitter for a manufacturing company in the Bulwell area of Nottingham (NG6).
The role involves the assembly and fitting of specialist machinery, manufacturing small components, and working with in-house designs and quality requirements.
Candidates should have previous mechanical fitting experience, preferably with machinery, and possess good verbal and written communication skills.
The position requires a mechanical engineering background, hands-on fitting experience, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings.
The job offers a salary range of £13-£16 per hour, with a standard work schedule of Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, and candidates should have relevant experience in mechanical fitting.

Proactive Global currently is looking for Mechanical Fitter to work for a manufacturing company based in Nottingham (Bulwell Area NG6)

Your daily duties will include:

Assembly and fitting of specialist machinery
Manufacturing small components
Assembly of components
Cutting, shaping, drilling, tapping etc.
Working to in-house designs, drawings and quality requirements

To be considered for this role you will need the following skills/experience:

Previous mechanical fitting experience preferably working on/building machinery
Good verbal and written communication skills

The ideal candidate will:

Mechanical engineering background or similar
Hands on experience in mechanical fitting
Experience of using hand and power tools and workshop machinery
Ability to understand & interpret engineering drawings
Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise tasks
Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and as part of a team
Good Attention to detail
Good understanding of general health and safety

More about the role:

Hours: Hours: Monday to Friday 7.30am-4.00pm
Start date: ASAP following interview process
Rate - 13-16 per hour
