The Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced solicitor to join a leading Construction team as a Associate. This role is ideal for someone with excellent non-contentious construction experience who is looking for professional growth.
You'll play a key role in servicing existing workflows while also contributing to business development. From providing expert advice to a wide range of clients to creating innovative, tailored solutions, you'll work in a collaborative and dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advice on all aspects of national non-contentious building, construction, and engineering matters.
- Work with a diverse client base, including employers, contractors, subcontractors, developers, and suppliers.
- Prepare and advise on standard forms and associated documentation (e.g., collateral warranties, duty of care agreements, performance bonds, guarantees).
- Contribute to marketing and networking activities, including seminars, workshops, and written content for external platforms.
- Meet financial and time-recording targets.
- Collaborate with the team to define individual responsibilities aligned with personal development goals.
What We're Looking For:
- Strong experience in non-contentious construction law, with a solid understanding of national standard forms and related documentation.
- Commercially aware with a practical approach to problem-solving.
- Clear, concise communicator able to deliver commercial advice under tight deadlines.
- Enthusiastic about building professional networks and participating in business development.
- Tech-savvy with good familiarity with case management systems and legal research tools.
