Are you a highly skilled Legal Document Production Specialist with experience in legal transcription, legal document formatting and case management systems? We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Document production professional to join our client's team, supporting legal departments with the creation and formatting of critical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritising and processing work requests, including audio transcription of legal correspondence and documents.
  • Using VisualFiles case management system to create notes, correspondence, reports, instructions, and pleadings, alongside FormEvo software for court documents.
  • Producing verbatim transcriptions of recorded hearings, police interviews, 999 calls, and conferences to a high standard.
  • Creating, editing, and reformatting correspondence and documents in line with the firm’s templates and house style.
  • Proofreading all work for spelling, grammar, formatting, and accuracy, including documents generated via speech recognition software.
  • Ensuring documents are completed to meet internal and external client deadlines.
  • Clarifying instructions when necessary and proactively resolving document issues.
  • Ensuring efficient handovers between shifts and maintaining best practices in document production.
  • Supporting colleagues with guidance and best approaches for document formatting.
  • Flexibility to accommodate occasional shift changes for meetings and training sessions.

About You:

  • Proven experience in a legal document production role
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and legal document management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines with speed and accuracy.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and team collaboration.
  • Experience with VisualFiles and FormEvo (desirable but not essential).
