Commercial Property Paralegal – Nottingham

A well-established law firm is currently seeking a Paralegal to join its Commercial Property team in Nottingham. This is a unique opportunity to work within a niche and dynamic area of commercial property, supporting major national clients and contributing meaningfully to the wider legal team.

The role offers hands-on experience managing a personal caseload from instruction to completion, with direct client interaction and exposure to all stages of the file lifecycle. You will be part of a close-knit and collaborative group of Paralegals, working under the guidance of experienced solicitors and senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Progress conveyancing procedures on client matters using a case management system, with appropriate supervision
  • Prepare legal documentation relevant to the transaction
  • Liaise directly with clients—primarily by phone—to build strong working relationships
  • Respond promptly and professionally to instructions and queries
  • Develop a clear understanding of the client’s structures and working practices
  • Undertake any additional duties consistent with the role

Requirements:

  • A Law degree (or equivalent legal qualification)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy caseload and meet deadlines
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Professional demeanour and confidence when dealing with clients
