We are currently seeking a Legal Assistant to join this firm’s expanding property department.

As a Legal Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting our legal professionals and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the office. Responsibilities:

  • Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents, including contracts, pleadings and correspondence
  • Organise and maintain case files, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, court appearances and client appointments
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel and other stakeholders
  • Conduct legal research and prepare summaries to support case preparation
  • Perform general administrative duties such as filing, data entry and managing office supplies

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal
  • Previous experience in property law
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with legal research tools is a plus
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to handle confidential information with discretion
