The Role:As aTransport & Warehouse professional, you will play a vital role in the daily operations of our clients transport and warehouse functions, ensuringefficiency, compliance, and exceptional service delivery. Key responsibilities include:
- Budgetary and financial management experience
- Managing and supporting a team comprisingof depot managers, supervisors, van delivery drivers, admin and warehouse staff.
- Overseeingrecruitment, training, and developmentof team members.
- Monitoring KPIsto drive operational improvements.
- Ensuring compliancewith health & safety and transport regulations.
- Managing fleet operations, vehicle maintenance, and route planning.
- Developingstrong customer relationshipsand ensuring excellent service delivery SLA's.
- UsingMicrosoft Word, Excel, and emailto manage schedules, reports, and team communications.
- Experience in transport and warehouse operations.
- Managers CPC
- ADR 7 - experience in ADR is a desirable asset
- Strongleadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability tomotivate and develop a team.
- Hands-on approachwith a problem-solving mindset.
- Proficiency inMicrosoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- A keen eye forefficiency, process improvement, and customer satisfaction.
- Competitive salaryof circa£40-£43k per annum.
- Core hours:Monday to Friday,day shifts.
