Route Controller/ Administrator

We are seeking a dedicated Route Controller Administrator to join our clients central transport team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient and effective maintenance of transport data, coordinating and maintaining routes for all Service Centres, and managing delivery schedules. This position offers the flexibility of remote working in line with our company policy.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Align Leonardo and SAP systems by maintaining both systems with updated delivery plans and van routes.
  • Add new accounts to Leonardo to ensure service level agreements are maintained during the customer onboarding process.
  • Perform general administrative duties including running reports, creating forms, and maintaining spreadsheets as required.
  • Support the Central Transport Operations team with ad hoc information requests and ensure clear and concise communication with all stakeholders to facilitate timely and accurate transportation of goods across the network.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Solid administration knowledge and experience.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Full driving licence is desirable but not essential.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and supportively within a team.
  • Ability to work unsupervised with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise, multitask, and effectively manage time.
  • Strong customer focus and proven ability to build productive relationships with employees at all levels of the organisation.
