The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to join a growing business with headquarters situated in South Nottingham. They offer a range of over 20,000 industrial and workplace related products and also manufacture a number of key products within the UK. Its an exciting time as their ecommerce function continues to thrive and they now require a Digital Marketing Executive to be responsible for supporting their online marketing efforts.

You will have a strong background in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to support the online marketing efforts. This role requires a blend of design skills, basic photography capabilities, and digital marketing expertise to create engaging visuals for the e-commerce channels. You will be responsible for taking or sourcing product photos, editing and retouching images, creating product illustrations, and delivering high-quality digital assets to the web team.

Key Responsibilities

Basic Photography & Image Editing - Take or source high-quality product photos when needed. Retouch, resize, and colour-correct images using Adobe Photoshop and maintain consistency in lighting, colour, and brand standards across all images.

Illustration & Graphic Design - Create original product illustrations, icons, and graphics using Adobe Illustrator. Develop creative concepts for promotional materials, packaging, and other marketing collateral. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure all designs align with brand guidelines.

Digital Asset Management - Organise and manage a digital library of photos, illustrations, and other creative files. Package and deliver assets in the correct formats to the web team for timely website updates. Ensure files are properly named, tagged, and archived for future reference.

E-commerce Support - Collaborate with the web team to upload and optimize product visuals on e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento). Ensure product images and illustrations are displayed accurately and meet platform specifications. Identify and implement improvements in product presentation to enhance user experience.

Marketing Campaign Support - Contribute to the creation of digital marketing materials such as banner ads, email visuals, and social media graphics. Brainstorm and develop creative ideas for product promotions, seasonal campaigns, and social media content.

Key Requirements

Ideally you will be proficient in in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop with basic photography skills (or familiarity with cameras/lighting setups). Knowledge of other Adobe Creative Suite tools (e.g., InDesign, Lightroom) is also advantageous.

You will have an understanding of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce) and a basic understanding of HTML/CSS or content management systems (CMS) as a bonus.

Generally, you will have strong attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and have the ability to adapt to evolving project requirements and timelines.
