PPC Specialist - Collections & Acquisition

Location: Remote (Travel to Nottingham on an ad-hoc basis when required)

Reporting to: Head of Digital Marketing

Leading specialist lender providing financial solutions to customers requiring flexible and affordable short-term financing options, is seeking an experienced PPC Specialist to drive their digital acquisition strategy, with a particular focus on collections and debt consolidation campaigns. This role is crucial in helping them reach customers who need their financial solutions whilst ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Digital Campaign Strategy & Execution
  • Develop and manage high-performing PPC campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising platforms
  • Create and optimise targeted campaigns for different customer segments, including debt consolidation and financial solutions
  • Implement sophisticated audience targeting strategies whilst adhering to FCA guidelines
  • Ensure all campaigns comply with financial promotions rules and Consumer Duty requirement
  • Work closely with the Collections team to align PPC strategy with collections objectives
  • Performance Optimisation - analyse user behaviour and conversion funnels to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Conduct A/B testing across landing pages and ad copy to enhance conversion rates
  • Develop remarketing strategies that align with regulatory requirements
  • Utilise Google Analytics, Microsoft Advertising, and other tools to track campaign performance
  • Generate comprehensive reports on key metrics including CAC, conversion rates, and ROI

Required Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in PPC management, ideally within financial services
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale Google Ads campaigns
  • Strong understanding of FCA regulations regarding financial promotions
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with data analysis
  • Google Ads and Analytics certifications
  • Experience with automation and bid management tools
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
