Leading, British brand specialising in creating design-led, home and gift products is seeking a dynamic and driven Account Manager to join their highly motivated team. You will play a pivotal role in managing and maximising their existing house accounts (John Lewis etc) alongside opening new key and national accounts.  There is also huge potential to be creative in this role, winning and working on own-label projects that has been a huge growth area for the company.This company really cares about its people, and this is reflected in their exceptional benefit package that is designed to enhance your work-life balance and overall well-being.   • Manage and nurture existing retail relationships, maximising sales opportunities and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Develop new business by approaching and winning accounts that align with their brand ethos and target market.
  • Negotiate terms and pricing agreements with a focus on maintaining healthy margins and sustainable business growth.
  • Spotting opportunities for own-label projects and working closely with all internal teams to ensure these opportunities are maximised and critical paths are followed.
  • Assisting your accounts with any product selection or stock enquires.
  • Working closely with the Logistics, Sales Operations, Warehousing and Credit Control teams to ensure orders are delivered accurately and efficiently to customer requirements.
  • Represent the company at customer meetings, trade shows, and other industry events to showcase new ranges and secure new partnerships.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in account management within the gifting, homewares, beauty, cards, or related product industry.
  • Strong grasp of numbers and analytics, with proficiency in Word, Excel, and CRM systems.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of achieving sales targets and fostering long-term relationships.
  • Self-driven and proactive with a strong work ethic, capable of working autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Experience of winning new accounts and developing long term relationships.
