JOB SUMMARY:

The role of the Engagement Officer is to drive effective engagement and account management activities with community groups and organisations for the achievement of contractual targets and engagement.  This includes engagement with community voluntary services, community organisations, employers, education, and training providers to achieve the engagement targets for my client's service offer.

You will be required to work with autonomy and high levels of personal motivation with the proven ability to meet targets, working in collaboration with teams of internal colleagues, including business engagement and delivery staff.

DUTIES AND RESPOSIBILITIES

  • Forming positive links with new and established partners, actively promote the organisation's service to all stakeholders, referral agencies and applicants to achieve agreed targets and develop the business to meet our objectives.
  • Explore opportunities to develop the learning offer whilst managing expectations of internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead in the proactive promotion of the service and contribute to the development of the brand whilst building effective partnerships with existing employers and have the ability to engage with new employer clients through a variety of community engagement approaches.
  • Ensures completion of all employer compliance paperwork relevant to the contract.
  • Work with external stakeholders to ensure availability of appropriate teaching and learning venues as required
  • Support community groups and individuals towards engagement, providing guidance on benefits criteria, eligibility, and any qualifications they may already possess.
  • Support individuals to enrol onto programmes where applicable, including details into MI systems
  • Ensure internal relationships and communication is central to all elements of the engagement process.
  • Take responsibility to learn, maintain and share up to date knowledge of the service and all relevant contracts to include local, regional and national skills agenda around further education, apprenticeships, funding, adult education and careers ensuring the advice delivered on behalf of the organisation and stakeholders is relevant, and of an expert level.
  • Account Manage employers, working closely with recruitment executives and enrolment officers to troubleshoot and coordinate responses to any issues that arise.
  • Work with employers to promote internally the service, supporting participants onto the programme and providing relevant IAG.
  • Build and deliver on a robust pipeline of activity to fulfil targets in line with the annual business plan and key performance indicators, ensuring sales processes, due diligence, compliance and internal procedures are adhered to.
