Our client manufactures, distributes, sells and markets some of the world's strongest brands in non-alcoholic beverages. It is a leading Western European marketer, distributor, and producer of bottles and can non-alcoholic refreshment.

Pay rate: £15.27 per/hour

Location: Nottingham, NG2 3DQ

Shift pattern:

4 on 4 off (on site Monday - Friday when office open and WFH weekends)

10 hour day shift (between the hours of 7am - 7pm)

Includes working BH

6 months cover with possible perm opportunities for the right candidate

*While training it would be Monday to Friday post which it will be 4 on 4 off pattern*

Job overview: You will be part of a high performing, engaged and customer centric Logistics team, that within cost parameters, delivers the agreed customer service expectations through a culture of continuous improvement.

You will support in delivering our World Famous Brands to our customers on time and in full through management of a product portfolio. Working closely with customer services team, deployment, production planning, transport and distribution sites to determine the optimum dispatch point for each customer delivery. You will look to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of the CL and Operational team's collaborative strategy.

Key responsibilities:

  • Make decisions to Allocate orders from the correct region/site in line with our optimum shape strategy and managing any exceptions
  • Collaborate with internal Customer Logistics teams, Production Planning & Deployment, to deliver on cost and service goals whilst driving continuous improvement
  • Drive performance by portfolio to achieve KBI's through tracking, challenging trends and taking action
  • Maintain Allocation Master data to support right first time through the system
  • Ensure that 'stock at risk' product is moved proactively in line with our dispatch strategy, and reactively to customer demand, so that it is sat in the correct sites to reduce risk
  • Engage fully in the HR processes, and be shown to work within the guidelines, and or CCE policies around conduct, attendance and performance

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a customer services and/or logistics environment is preferable
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to perform under high levels of pressure within a fast paced environment
  • Basic Excel experience
  • A working knowledge of SAP systems is preferred with experience of system transactions
