An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Level 4-qualified Paraplanner or experienced Administrator to step into a management role within a well-established Wealth Management firm in Nottingham. This dynamic position combines leadership, business operations, and paraplanning support, offering hybrid working flexibility and excellent career growth prospects.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Management
  • Oversee FCA regulatory reporting, ensuring full compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
  • Manage firm accounts, payroll, and business insurance plans.
  • Maintain and update client agreements, Consumer Duty documentation, and compliance templates.
  • Ensure adherence to business-critical plans, monitoring operational efficiency and regulatory obligations.
Team Leadership & Paraplanning Support
  • Supervise the daily workflow of the support team, ensuring operational effectiveness.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, 1:1 meetings, and team development initiatives.
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and continuous professional development for staff.
  • Provide paraplanning support to IFAs, including suitability report writing and file checks.
Office Operations & Administration
  • Manage office contracts, utility agreements, and financial planning software subscriptions.
  • Coordinate provider meetings, internal communications, and external newsletters.
  • Organize team and adviser meetings, preparing agendas and ensuring actionable follow-ups.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Qualified Paraplanner: Minimum Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning.
  • Leadership Aptitude: Experience managing teams or mentoring staff within a financial services environment.
  • Detail-Oriented & Organised: Strong analytical skills with a meticulous approach to compliance and documentation.
  • FCA Knowledge: Familiarity with regulatory reporting, financial compliance, and industry best practices.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in financial planning software and Microsoft Office applications.
