A college in Nottingham is seeking a Catering and Hospitality Lecturer to join their team on a temporary basis. The role involves teaching 18 hours per week across 3 days, covering courses such as the Professional Chef Diploma Level 1, NVQ Level 3, and Prep Skills Level 2.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Deliver engaging and informative lectures for the Professional Chef Diploma Level 1, NVQ Level 3, and Prep Skills Level 2.
  • Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials that meet curriculum standards.
  • Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and practical evaluations.
  • Provide feedback and support to students to enhance their learning experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of the curriculum.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Must hold a teaching qualification.
  • Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Hospitality or a related field.
  • DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
