School Cleaner

Location: NG1

Hours: 6am - 8.30am - 3.30pm - 5.30pm Monday to Friday term time only

Salary: 11.44ph - 11.82ph

The role

  • Cover multiple school locations throughout the borough
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks in designated areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces.
  • Ensure all surfaces are dusted, wiped down, and sanitised to meet health and safety standards.
  • Vacuum, mop, and sweep floors to maintain cleanliness throughout the premises.
  • Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
  • Follow cleaning schedules and checklists to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.

Experience needed


* Previous experience in cleaning.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* A proactive attitude towards health and safety practices in the workplace.
