 There is a new opportunity in a successful, independent firm, commutable from Nottingham, Derby, Loughborough, and the surrounding areas, available on either full time or part time hours.

The role would be mainly focused on cloud accounting / bookkeeping, VAT and management of information for clients, with around 30% of the time dedicated to payroll responsibilities. This split of responsibility between bookkeeping and payroll can be flexible to suit the right candidate, as can the salary, dependent on your experience level.

Responsibilities could include:

  • Processing payments, invoices, income, and receipts and entering data into accounting software or databases then filing digital copies
  • Month end accounts / bookkeeping
  • Processing VAT returns
  • General ad hoc admin duties
  • Processing payrolls and liaising with HMRC.
  • Dealing with client queries via telephone and emails, P11Ds
  • Pension Enrolment
  • Calculating statutory payments
